HIGH THERAPY "Primitiv" Tape

The energetic duo from Tangerang – Indonesia, High Therapy, are back with good news. Their new LP titled “Primitiv” was officially released on July 31, 2021, featuring 12 charmfull tracks.

The work of this darling duet is always something to look forward to, something which also comes with a positive response from their fans. This album, again showing the ingenuity of Barry & Adit in exploring Jamaican music as High Therapy’s common thread with their well chosen other music elements.

Opened by “Doom” as the preamble to “Pritimitiv” this brilliant intro worked its magic nicely to bring the listeners to enjoy the second track, “Baby Blue”. Three previously released singles, “Bend Down” in collaboration with Agustin Oendari, “Put Me to uR friENDlist” and “TV and Antenna” followed to topping up the energy of this LP. This duo displays their genius through a sense of roots and dub combined with modern elements a la High Therapy, which can be traced in “Madman”, “I n I” and “Egotastic”.

The smooth transition of track by track, can be an additional note of this duo’s foresighting ideas. “Pritimitiv” is a highly fun yet a flawless therapy!
